Pastor Lee preaches locally at McClure Town Church of God in Christ and performs regularly on programs such as the Alabama Gospel Roots program. Bobby told our own , John Mike McCall, about the time he spent in downtown Troy writing songs during the pandemic while sitting in a swing on the square. Featured today is Grand Ole Opry legend Jeannie Seely. Jeannie Seely recently sang and recorded a song originally written by Dottie West that her family found recently in her possessions after her death. The song was incomplete but Dottie's family asked Luverne native Bobby Tomberlin to complete the arrangement and he did a great job with it. Jeannie, a long time friend of Dottie's was asked to sing the song and released it on her new album , an American Classic. Audio posted with permission of the owner.
